The Value of Microbulk

There is a solution to costly run-outs, excessive handling, and bulky packages of cylinders! Read on to find out why Microbulk is that solution.

Microbulk is an externally mounted liquid gas tank that holds gas longer. It's a turnkey solution that makes gas delivery easy and worry-free. Read on to learn how Microbulk makes gas delivery the best part of your job.

What Makes Microbulk Different?

To understand what makes microbulk different, we need to take a look at other gas delivery options.

GAS CYLINDERS

Gas cylinder packs are one of the most popular types of gas supplies. They have gained this popularity because they are quick to install, easy to use, and have no start-up costs. They are in gas form, so you don't have to worry about losses, and they have instant pressure; just turn the valve and you're good to go!

Like most things, gas cylinder packs aren't perfect, and they come with their own set of difficulties. Cylinder packs are very hands-on and require constant monitoring and reordering, which can lead to costly outages. Cylinder packs are also not known for their space efficiency.

MINIBULK

Minibulk is what we call 'portable liquid gas service. Minibulk stores gases in liquid form; these gases must be kept extremely cold, so Minibulk acts as a really big thermos. Minibulk is preferred for its ability to store large amounts of gas in one cylinder. Minibulk is also slightly cheaper than cylinder packs. If you use a good amount of gas, minibulks also offer the convenience of fewer changes per shift, resulting in a relatively uninterrupted flow.

Although more convenient than cylinder packs, they still require operator involvement and monitoring. Minibulk is not the cheapest option. Venting losses can be as high as 2% per day.

MICROBULK

Microbulk is an externally mounted LPG tank that can hold gas longer and has less than 1% vent loss per day. Microbulk's most popular feature is its real-time cellular/ethernet tracking; also known as telemetry. This allows us, the supplier, to know exactly when you are running low on gas and need to refill. We call this automatic replenishment, sounds great right? Our system also allows you to see volume charts and replenishment records to find efficiencies.

Why we love the Microbulk so much is because our customers love it! Here are just a few of the great things that have been said about Microbulk.

"Microbulk has transformed our operations because we no longer have to worry about our daily gas supply. By not having to keep track of spare cylinders or place as many orders, we have definitely lowered our overall operating costs; if ROI exists, Microbulk should be the preferred choice for any use case. - Josh Manzie, Head Brewer, Lake Forest Brewing Company

"Having microbulk tanks for our laser gas needs has freed up our time to do what we do best. Gene and his team at Innovair make it next to impossible to run ourselves out of gas." – Carlos Wiebe, Diemo Machine Works Inc.

“We have been using the Microbulk system for several years now. It's efficient, convenient, and saves us a lot of time switching out the smaller bottled packs. We have live tank monitoring and very few issues. If we ever run into a problem, Innovair Industrial is very quick to respond and rectify the issue. We will continue using microbulk for years to come.” – Terran Goertzen, Bothwell Cheese

"Whenever we need expert advice, Innovair Industrial is just a phone call away, and their people are always willing to go the extra mile to support our business. We installed an Oxygen Microbulk system with Innovair about 10-years ago and continue to enjoy their consistent, uninterrupted supply." – Robert Hofer, Operations Manager at Bruder Built
